SmartAssembly is a code obfuscation and error reporting tool that helps .NET developers produce quality applications. This comprehensive solution protects your .NET code and adds error reporting. By messing up and injecting useless codes, this program makes it difficult for hackers to reverse engineer and understand the main structure of the code. With Smart Assembly, you will have a wide range of capabilities to obfuscate codes such as string encoding, dynamic reference, obfuscating the code execution process, etc.
This program also decodes stack traces and produces PDB files containing debugging information. This allows you to debug your assemblies inside the IDE and see the full stack trace of the error when encountering an exception. Smart Assembly also helps to ensure that unused space is automatically freed up. The obfuscation process can be combined with the building mechanism with the help of the MS Build tool or its command line version and supports .NET 2.0 to 4.5, Silverlight 2.0 to 5.0, XNA framework, and Windows Phone 7.
Features and Specification of the SmartAssembly tool:
